At South Tacoma Adventist Fellowship (STAF), we value the way in which photos, video and other media help our faith community grow and flourish.  This media tells our story, provides visitors information and an idea of what to expect when they attend our worship services and events, highlights the work of those who serve, and allows us to communicate our mission as a church via our website, Facebook page and other digital/print media, for people who don’t go to church.

Accordingly, photography, videography, live-streaming and other recordings may be in progress at STAF’s services, ministry activities, classes, and other programs/events.  STAF may use the media recorded at these events in materials produced by or for the church, including but not limited to--bulletins, posters, brochures, newsletters, other printed/electronic materials, and digital or social media.

By participating in STAF’s services, ministry activities, classes, programs and events: 1) you consent to be recorded as described above; 2) you grant your permission for STAF to use recordings containing your image, likeness, voice and/or statements, without compensation, credit or other consideration to you, for STAF’s promotional, publicity and other purposes, throughout the world and in perpetuity; and 3) you agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify STAF from any and all liabilities and claims involving the use of your image, likeness, voice or statements.

While we reserve the right to photograph and record church events, we strive to ensure that photographs and videography are used in safe and positive ways.  We will not knowingly and intentionally post any photo, video or other recording that would be embarrassing, objectionable or hurtful to any clearly, personally identifiable individual in the recording.

Additionally, if you see a photo on a STAF website or social media page (such as Facebook) that includes you or your child and would like it removed, please contact the STAF Communications Leader at admin@stafonline.org.  Please note we cannot remove your image from video or live-stream messages.  Please understand that STAF has no control over the recording, use and posting of images or other media by non-church staff (e.g., STAF members, community members, news outlets, etc.) and no ability to remove such media from publications, including internet or social media sites, that are not run by STAF.
